Ordering & Process
How do I place an order?
Orders can be placed directly through our digital showroom or by contacting us for a guided purchase.
Many clients begin with a short email conversation to confirm:
- dimensions
- upholstery selections
- delivery logistics
- production timing
Garofano pieces are made to order, and each order is confirmed individually.
Do you have a showroom?
Garofano is currently a studio-led model.
We do not operate a traditional retail showroom at this stage.
Instead, we offer:
- private viewings by appointment
- material samples upon request
- direct founder consultation
- white-glove residential delivery
Our approach is intentionally personal, discreet, and design-focused.
Can I speak with someone before ordering?
Yes.
Garofano encourages direct conversation prior to purchase, especially for upholstered or customized pieces.

Products & Quality
Where is Garofano furniture made?
Garofano collections are developed in collaboration with a collective of designers based in Italy.

Are your pieces comfortable, or mainly aesthetic?
Comfort is a design requirement at Garofano.

Garofano does not treat comfort as secondary to form.
Are pieces exactly as shown in photos?
Lifestyle imagery and renderings are representative.
Because pieces are made with natural materials and hand-finished surfaces, slight variations may occur in:
- wood grain
- leather tone
- stone veining
- fabric texture
These variations are inherent characteristics, not defects.
Customization
Can I choose my fabric or finish?
Yes.
Most pieces are available in a curated range of upholstery and finish options, including:
- premium fabrics and leathers
- technical performance textiles
- metal and wood finish variations
Customization is offered selectively, where it strengthens the design.
Can you adjust dimensions?
Certain models allow dimensional refinement within approved tolerances.
For example:
- slight length or depth adjustments
- modular sofa configurations
- firmness options on select seating
Structural redesign is not offered, as Garofano maintains strict design integrity.
Are customized pieces returnable?
Customized and made-to-order pieces are final sale.
This reflects the nature of limited-run production and ensures the highest construction and material standards.
Pricing & Value
Why is Garofano priced below traditional luxury brands?
Garofano operates with a different model:
- studio-led distribution

Clients receive exceptional design and material quality without the overhead of legacy retail structures.
Do you offer trade pricing?
Yes.
Garofano works with qualified interior designers, architects, developers, and stagers through our Trade Program.
Trade eligibility requires professional verification.
Lead Times & Delivery
How long does delivery take?
Because pieces are made to order, typical timelines are:
- Production: 5–7 weeks
- International shipping: 5–9 weeks
- Total delivery window: approximately 10–16 weeks
Lead times vary depending on material selection and freight conditions.
Garofano provides progress updates and quality control imagery prior to shipment.
Do you offer white-glove delivery?
Yes. We do only white-glove delivery.
Garofano coordinates white-glove delivery for all large pieces, including:
- in-home placement
- packaging removal
- assembly where applicable
Delivery is scheduled directly with the client once the piece arrives in the US.
What if my building requires special delivery rules?
Clients are responsible for ensuring:
- access through doorways and stairwells
- elevator reservations
- COI requirements (if applicable)
We are happy to coordinate with building management when needed.
Returns, Claims & Assurance
What happens if an item arrives damaged?
All pieces are inspected prior to shipment.
In the rare event of transit damage:
- clients must notify us within 48 hours
- photographs are required
- Garofano will coordinate repair or replacement where appropriate
Do you offer a warranty?
Garofano provides a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal residential use.
Full warranty terms are available upon request.
