Divano Duna is shaped as a continuous landscape of upholstered curves. A broad low seat flows into rising end forms that act simultaneously as arms and back support, giving the sofa a sculptural profile without relying on separate decorative elements. The asymmetry is deliberate: one side rises more strongly, creating a sense of movement and enclosure while the opposite side remains open and relaxed. Duna works as a central object in the room, defined by silhouette, proportion and the uninterrupted sweep of its upholstery.
Width: 31.5 in (80 cm)
Length: 82.7 in (210 cm)
Height: approximately 33.5 in (85 cm)
Internal structure in kiln-dried solid beech with CNC-cut 15–18 mm birch-plywood ribs forming the curved back and arm geometry. The long seat frame is reinforced with doubled rails and concealed steel plates at high-load transitions. Suspension uses 60–80 mm premium elastic webbing, cross-laced and individually tensioned. The fixed seat is built in multi-density HR polyurethane: approximately 45 kg/m³ load-bearing core, 35–38 kg/m³ comfort layer and 50–60 kg/m³ reinforcement at the perimeter to preserve the continuous edge. Back and arm volumes use 28–35 kg/m³ sculpting foam with a 250–300 g/m² batting wrap. Upholstery is cut to maintain smooth tension across the changing radii, with seams positioned along controlled geometry rather than across the main visual surfaces. A recessed steel or solid-hardwood plinth carries the sofa discreetly above the floor.
