Divano Mosaico is composed as a field of deeply cushioned squares, turning the entire sofa into a soft geometric grid. The seat, back and arms are divided into repeated padded modules that create a strong rhythm while preserving a relaxed, enveloping posture. Its low height and broad proportions make the piece feel almost architectural from a distance; up close, the tactile surface and rounded transitions soften the strict repetition. Mosaico is designed for rooms where comfort and visual impact are intended to carry equal weight.

Reinforced modular frame in kiln-dried solid beech with 18 mm birch-plywood decks and side panels, engineered to maintain the straight outer perimeter beneath the highly padded surface. Suspension uses 60–70 mm cross-laced elastic webbing in each principal seating zone. The quilted geometry is built from a 45–50 kg/m³ HR structural core with 35 kg/m³ comfort foam and 50–60 kg/m³ perimeter reinforcement; each raised square is separately sculpted and mechanically indexed so the grid does not migrate with use. Back and arm volumes use 28–32 kg/m³ shaped foam with a 250–300 g/m² batting wrap. Deep seams are reinforced internally rather than created by surface stitching alone. A concealed low steel or hardwood plinth carries the sofa. Dense bouclé, wool or velvet best preserves the soft mosaic effect; leather requires a dedicated cutting and seam pattern.
