Letto Levita is built around the illusion of a broad upholstered platform hovering above the floor. The low frame extends beyond the mattress to create a generous horizontal plane, while the paired headboard cushions remain soft, relaxed and intentionally simple. The contrast between the broad base and discreet recessed support makes the bed feel substantial without appearing heavy. Levita is designed for interiors where the bed itself becomes part of the room’s architecture rather than simply a place for the mattress.

Structural platform in kiln-dried solid beech and reinforced birch plywood with concealed steel cross-members beneath the extended perimeter. The mattress support uses sprung laminated birch slats over a rigid central rail, allowing ventilation while preventing long-span deflection. The wide upholstered platform is built up with resilient 30–35 kg/m³ HR foam over the structural deck, with higher-density reinforcement at outer edges to maintain a crisp horizontal line. Headboard cushions use 28–32 kg/m³ supportive foam cores with a softer fibre or feather/fibre comfort wrap for a relaxed surface. A recessed powder-coated steel plinth carries the load inside the footprint, producing the floating effect and incorporating adjustable glides. Upholstery is pattern-matched across the broad perimeter, with disciplined seams, hidden fastening and removable headboard covers where the selected textile permits.
