A slim perimeter frame traces the mattress platform, while two broad headboard cushions introduce softness without turning the piece into a heavily padded volume. Load-bearing bed frame in kiln-dried solid beech with reinforced birch-plywood side and end rails, joined through concealed steel corner plates and threaded inserts for repeated assembly without damaging the timber structure. The mattress platform uses sprung laminated birch slats seated in resilient holders over a central steel support rail with an adjustable centre leg. The upholstered perimeter is shaped with 30–35 kg/m³ HR foam and 200–300 g/m² batting for controlled softness without excessive bulk. Twin headboard panels use a rigid birch-ply core, 28–32 kg/m³ shaped foam and a soft comfort wrap, with concealed brackets allowing accurate alignment and servicing. Slender legs are 304 stainless steel or structural steel with a matte black finish, mechanically fixed into reinforced nodes. Covers are precision tailored in premium textile or leather with concealed seams and removable components where practical.
