Poltrona Abbracio is a compact swivel lounge chair shaped around a continuous embracing gesture. Rounded arms curve inward toward a deep circular seat, while the elevated oval backrest appears to float above the body of the chair. The layered forms create a clear sense of enclosure without closing the chair visually, and the dark circular base provides a precise counterpoint to the soft upholstery. Its proportions make it particularly suited to reading corners, bedrooms and conversational settings where comfort is expected within a compact footprint.
Width: 35 in (89 cm)
Depth: 29.9 in (76 cm)
Height: 32.3 in (82 cm)
Seat Height: 16.9 in (43 cm)
Internal structure in kiln-dried solid beech and formed birch plywood with concealed steel reinforcement around the swivel connection and arm junctions. The seat is supported on 60 mm cross-laced elastic webbing and built with a 42–45 kg/m³ HR foam core plus 32–35 kg/m³ comfort foam. Arms and floating back use shaped 28–32 kg/m³ foam over rigid structural shells, wrapped in 200–250 g/m² batting for a smooth radius. The backrest is fixed through concealed steel brackets that carry load independently of the upholstery. A 360-degree swivel base uses a heavy-gauge steel bearing plate and recessed circular plinth, finished in matte black, gunmetal or selected metal finishes. Upholstery may be specified in bouclé, wool, velvet or full-grain leather; seams are aligned to the inner curves to preserve the clean outer silhouette.
