Sgabello Archetto reduces the barstool to a light metal drawing around two softly upholstered forms. A rounded seat is paired with a curved backrest suspended within a slender frame, while the open structure and integrated footrest keep the piece visually transparent. The repeated arcs in the back, seat and lower frame give the stool a measured rhythm and prevent the tall proportions from feeling rigid. It is refined enough for a formal bar or kitchen island while remaining light and contemporary in silhouette.
Width: 20.5 in (52 cm)
Depth: 17.7 in (45 cm)
Height: 40.2 in (102 cm)
Seat Height: 29.5 in (75 cm)
Frame fabricated from precision-bent 304 stainless-steel tube, TIG welded and hand-dressed at the joints before finishing. The continuous side rails are braced by an integrated tubular footrest positioned to resist torsion under use; concealed cross-members beneath the seat stabilise the narrow frame. Premium finishes include brushed or polished stainless steel and PVD brass, champagne or bronze. Seat and back use moulded birch-ply shells over 40–45 kg/m³ HR seat foam and 30–32 kg/m³ back foam, with a thin comfort layer and 150–200 g/m² batting for a tailored profile. Upholstery is available in full-grain leather, wool or performance textile, with neatly rolled edges and concealed underside staples. Replaceable high-density polymer glides are press-fit into the tubular legs to protect flooring and maintain a clean termination.
