Tavolo Pieghe treats the base as a sequence of folded planes rather than conventional legs. Dark vertical fins gather beneath a broad stone top, creating alternating areas of solidity and shadow and giving the table a strong architectural rhythm. The base changes character as the viewer moves around it: from one angle it appears almost monolithic, from another it opens into a series of narrow structural folds. The restrained geometry allows the richly patterned top to remain the visual focus.

Height: 29.5 in (75 cm)
Tabletop in selected marble or high-performance sintered stone, precision cut and edge-finished with a subtle eased radius. The slab is supported by a concealed structural subframe so the stone does not rely on point supports alone. The base is fabricated from heavy-gauge structural steel plate, laser cut and brake formed into repeated folded fins, then fully welded to concealed top and floor plates. Welds are ground flush before finishing to preserve the crisp folded geometry. Standard finish is a fine-texture matte black or deep bronze powder coat over anti-corrosion primer; selected 304 stainless-steel or PVD finishes may be specified for premium variants. Concealed threaded inserts and isolating pads connect the top to the base, while adjustable recessed glides allow precise levelling on site.
