Last updated: January 1, 2026

These Trade & Hospitality Program Terms (the “Trade Terms”) govern participation in the GAROFANO Trade Program for interior designers, architects, developers, and related professionals.

These Trade Terms apply in addition to GAROFANO’s general Terms and Conditions of Sale. In case of conflict, the following order of precedence applies:

  1. Trade invoice / written order confirmation
  2. These Trade Terms
  3. General Terms and Conditions of Sale
  1. Company Information

The Trade Program is operated by:

    GAROFANO LLC

  2. Scope and Eligibility

    2.1 Scope

The Trade Program is intended for qualified professionals purchasing GAROFANO products for:

    • private residential projects
    • home staging and high-end listings
    • design-led development projects

GAROFANO does not currently support large-scale hospitality procurement unless agreed in writing.

    2.2 Eligibility

The Trade Program is available to:

    • interior designers and decorators
    • architects
    • residential developers
    • professional stagers
    • design studios and procurement firms

Applicants may be required to provide documentation, including:

    • business license
    • portfolio or website
    • resale certificate (if applicable)

GAROFANO reserves the right to approve or decline applications at its discretion.

  3. Trade Pricing and Confidentiality

    3.1 Trade Pricing

Approved trade members receive preferential pricing on eligible items.

Trade pricing does not apply to:

    • delivery, installation, or logistics
    • limited editions or one-off pieces
    • rush or exceptional customization

    3.2 Confidentiality

Trade pricing is confidential and may not be published, advertised, or disclosed to third parties.

  4. Resale Certificates and Sales Tax

Where applicable, trade purchasers seeking tax exemption must provide a valid resale certificate prior to invoicing.

Absent such documentation, sales tax will be charged based on delivery jurisdiction.

Trade clients remain responsible for compliance with all local tax laws.

  5. Ordering Process and Payment Terms

    5.1 Made-to-Order Model

Unless expressly stated otherwise, all GAROFANO pieces are made-to-order.

    5.2 Payment Timing

Trade orders require full payment prior to production unless GAROFANO agrees otherwise in writing.

    Payment methods include:

    • ACH / wire transfer
    • approved card payment
    • project-based invoicing (case-by-case)

    5.3 Specification Approval

Trade clients are responsible for confirming all specifications prior to production, including:

    • dimensions
    • upholstery and finishes
    • orientation and configuration
    • delivery constraints

Once production begins, changes are generally not possible.

  6. Lead Times and Delivery

    6.1 Estimated Lead Times

    Typical timelines:

    • Production: 4–6 weeks
    • International shipping: 6–8 weeks
    • Total: approximately 10–14 weeks

All delivery dates are estimates and may vary due to:

    • material availability
    • factory closures
    • freight conditions
    • force majeure events

    6.2 White-Glove Delivery

GAROFANO coordinates white-glove delivery including placement and packaging removal.

    Delivery fees are quoted separately.

Trade clients may arrange alternative logistics upon written request.

  7. Customization

    Customization is offered selectively, including:

    • fabric and finish options
    • approved dimensional adjustments
    • dual-material combinations

All customized and made-to-order pieces are final sale.

  8. Samples and Swatches

Trade members may request fabric or finish samples.

Sample availability varies by collection and may require:

    • refundable deposit
    • return within a defined period
    • shipping charges
  9. Inspection, Claims, and Defects

All items undergo quality control prior to shipment.

Trade clients must inspect deliveries promptly.

    Claims must be submitted within:

    • 48 hours for transit damage
    • 7 days for manufacturing defects

Claims must include photographs and order reference.

GAROFANO may offer, at its discretion:

    • repair
    • replacement
    • partial credit

Natural variation in wood, leather, stone, or hand-finishing is not considered a defect.

  10. Returns and Cancellations

    Because pieces are made-to-order:

    • all trade orders are final sale once production begins
    • cancellations are not accepted after confirmation
    • returns are not offered except in verified defect cases
  11. Trade Attribution and Collaboration

GAROFANO welcomes subtle attribution in project materials, staging documentation, or listings.

Design collaborations may be explored on a case-by-case basis.
